How to Save Money as a Single Mom

Rebates saving money as a single mom

What to watch for and how to save money as a single mom.

Many manufacturers provide mail-in rebates to encourage customers to purchase their merchandise.  The way that these rebates work is you need to pay the entire cost for the item when you buy it.   But you'll be stunned at how many men and women don't get around to sending in the data due to their rebate.

Most suppliers have a set timeframe so it's a fantastic idea to acquire the data in a folder. Then fill everything out as promptly as possible.  Mom's and Dad's mess out on a lot of money by not completing the rebate process.

As it may take weeks to receive your rebate in the mail, it's a great idea to maintain a record of the rebates you've sent in.  Always make a copy of the rebate info and the reception before you mail it in.

The sums of rebates will vary but should you consider the typical rebate is about $25. That's a lot of money that customers are not benefiting from.  It's a great idea to always follow through on them as this money can really benefit single mom's.  Otherwise, you're just throwing away your money.

Each rebate procedure might be marginally different, Make sure you take some opportunity to read all of the info which accompanies it.  You do not need the frustration of waiting patiently for 60 days to find the rebate simply to acquire a letter rather that states you are not qualified because you neglected to supply some part of the requirements or your rebate was not completely filled out.

It's also a fantastic idea to do it as soon after you buy an item.

Haven't heard from them after 30 days then you might want to follow up on the rebate. This will not occur very often but it's extremely important that you follow up.  If you just bought the product at the price provided due to the price than it's even more important for you to get it.Getting your rebate shouldn't exceed 60 days.  If you do not have it contact the corporation.  Ensure that you record all of the info about if you called and who you talked to.

Keep Good Records

It's very good to have a log of the information so that in the event that you would like to pursue obtaining the rebate by additional ways it is possible to back up your data. There are a few of good sites you can use to keep track of your lien or you can use a simple excel worksheet.

Nearly all company's who provide rebates do honor them.  There are loads of companies that do look ahead to the unclaimed rebates even though because at least 40 percent of these never get registered by the customer. As a rule of thumb, however, I would not recommend basing your buy on a rebate.

Saving Money as a Single Mom Might Require Your Personal Information

If you do not wind up with the money then the item price you more than you were ready to cover it.  As you await the rebate procedure to be finished you will have the reduction of the extra money that may be allocated to something different. You also need to be ready for rebates to request your personal information such as your name, address, contact number, and email address.  This may lead to you getting promotions and coupons which can save you more cash later on.  But, they could lead to you becoming bombarded with offers by the producer which you aren't considering.
